City Council Meeting - 11/19/2012 >> Mayor Leffingwell: A necessary quorum of the austin city council is here, so I'll call this meeting to order. It's monday, november 19th. Time is 1:05 p.m. We're meeting in the council chambers, 301 west second street, austin, texas. Under state law under two councilmember are necessary for a quorum to canvas an election. We will now take up item number 1 to approve a resolution canvassing the results of a november 6, 2012 election. The returns of that election show that there were 193,901 votes yes, 59,677 no for prop 1. 188, 883 Yes. 6908 No. Proposition 2, 146696 yes. And 96999 know, proposition three, 121721 yes. 2126 Votes yes for proposition four 175374 yes. 185386 No. Prop six 5, 117811 yes. 128026 No. Proposition 6, 1 app 131, 661 yes. Proposition 7, 72771 yes. 167079 No. For prop 8. 157308 Yes and 84919 no. Proposition 9, 136830 votes yes. 99879 No. Proposition 10, 158643 and 68544 against. Prop 11, 131577 for and 107023 against.
