NOTICE OF MEETING The Austin Housing Finance Corporation, Board of Directors, will convene at 3:00 PM on Thursday, September 26, 2013, in Council Chambers at Austin City Hall, 301 W. Second Street, Austin, Texas AGENDA The Board of Directors will go into a closed session under Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code to receive advice from legal counsel, to discuss matters of land acquisition, to discuss personnel matters, or for other reasons permitted by law as specifically listed on this agenda. If necessary, the Board may go into a closed session as permitted by law regarding any item on this agenda. Consent 1. Approve the minutes of the September 9, 2013 Board meeting of the Austin Housing Finance Corporation. 2. Authorize the negotiation and execution of a one-year service agreement with the City of Austin under which AHFC will manage and operate various housing programs on the City’s behalf during Fiscal Year 2013-2014 funded by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development funds and local housing funds in an amount not to exceed $9,426,028. 3. Authorize the negotiation and execution of a one-year contract with the AUSTIN AREA URBAN LEAGUE in an amount not to exceed $1,000,000 to fund and administer the Emergency Home Repair Program. 4. Authorize negotiation and execution of a one-year contract with the HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF AUSTIN to fund and administer the Tenant- Based Rental Assistance Program to provide housing opportunities through subsidies to homeless families in an amount not to exceed $527,000. 5. Authorize the negotiation and execution of a three-year contract with the HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF AUSTIN in the amount of $500,000 to fund and administer a pilot, short-term rental voucher program for chronically homeless persons.
