  • Additional Home Repair Funding:

    Authorized up to $768,000 for AUSTIN HABITAT FOR HUMANITY, INC. to also repair single-family homes through the GO Repair! Program.

NOTICE OF MEETING The Austin Housing Finance Corporation, Board of Directors, will convene at 3:00 PM on Thursday, April 10, 2014, in Council Chambers at Austin City Hall, 301 W. Second Street, Austin, Texas AGENDA The Board of Directors will go into a closed session under Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code to receive advice from legal counsel, to discuss matters of land acquisition, to discuss personnel matters, or for other reasons permitted by law as specifically listed on this agenda. If necessary, the Board may go into a closed session as permitted by law regarding any item on this agenda. Consent 1. Approve the minutes of the January 23, 2014 and February 13, 2014 Board meetings of the Austin Housing Finance Corporation. 2. Approve the negotiation and execution of a loan to the University of Texas Inter- Cooperative Council, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $628,089 to assist with the development of a low-cost, cooperatively managed housing facility for post- secondary students, located at 915 West 22nd Street in the University Neighborhood Overlay District. 3. Authorize negotiation and execution of a contract with MEALS ON WHEELS AND MORE, INC. for the repair of 45 single family units eligible through the GO Repair! Program for an estimated amount of $800,000 with the option of increasing the contract by $368,000 for a total contract not to exceed $1,168,000 for the repair of additional units. 4. Authorize negotiation and execution of a contract with AUSTIN HABITAT FOR HUMANITY, INC. for the repair of 23 single family units eligible through the GO Repair! Program for an estimated amount of $400,000 with the option of increasing the contract by $368,000.00 for a total contract not to exceed $768,000 for the repair of additional units.
