All right. If this was midnight, I wouldn't have had a prayer. All right. We are going to recess the city council meeting so as to convene the Austin housing finance corporation meeting, and now I convene the Austin housing and finance corporation meeting. Today is Thursday, December 17th. It is 3:45. Take us to our agenda. >> Good afternoon, words. Betsy Spencer Eric treasure of the Austin housing finance corporation. Item 1 is approval the minutes from November 19th, 2015. The second item is a budget amendment, which is related to the previous action with the city council, number 29. It's a budget amendment. Item number 3 is the service agreement amendment that coincides with the budget amendment. [3:44:08 PM] And then item number 4 is authorizing an increase to an existing loan to foundation communities for the bluebonnet project, directly related to additional costs because of some work that they have to do with Austin energy. I offer these items on consent, and I'm available for questions. >> Mayor Adler: Is there a motion to approve items 1 through 4? Ms. Tovo makes that. Ms. Garza seconds that. Is there any discussion of these items? We have three people that are signed up.. Let's take up the first 3. No one has signed up on those so we'll take this motion just to the three. It's been moved and seconded. Discussion? Those in favor, please raise your hand. Those opposed? Zimmerman and troxclair voting no. Others voting aye. Casar off the dais. That makes I met eight to two with one off the dais. Will someone move adoption of item number 4? Ms. Tovo moves option 4, seconded by Ms. Pool. We have a speaker -- three speakers. Mr. Peña, is he here? He wants to speak? John Rhodes? David king. Take your time, David. >> Thank you, mayor, mayor pro tem, and councilmembers. I'm speaking in support of this. I think, you know, this is an important project, and we've had a lot of discussion about affordable housing today. This is adjacent to my neighborhood, and we were hoping that we would get this project in our neighborhood, but it didn't work out. Foundation communities is a great organization, and we've worked with them to get affordable housing geographically disbursed and I'm glasz to do on that previous chart that our neighborhood is way up there in the top of that list, or in the top half of that list because we definitely do want affordable housing in our neighborhood, and went it in different ways, in multiple family, in duplexes, single-family as well, we want affordability in our neighborhood. [3:46:20 PM] So I'm supportive of this. I would just ask if we could -- you know, I know Gus peña would be up here talking to you if he were here in the chamber, and I know he would be saying we need multifamily affordable housing, we need housing for families with children, four, five, six children. So we hope that y'all will take a look at that and take a look for ways to make sure we're getting affordable housing for those sections of our community as well. Thank you very much. >> Mayor Adler: Thank you. Is there any further discussion on item number 4? Those in favor of item number 4, please raise your hand. Those opposed? Zimmerman votes no. Troxclair votes no. Otherwise, the votes are aye. This passes nine to two. Thank you very much. That ends our meeting. I adjourn the Austin housing and finance corporation meeting.
