>> Houston: We are out of closed session. In closed session we took up personnel matters related to item number 2, the discussion and appointment of -- to the board of directors of austin-travis county sobering center, local government corporation. We interviewed five candidates, and all of them were excellent. All of them had great experience and passion for the work and I want to thank all of them for putting in the time and for interviewing with us for this position. Is there a motion? >> Tovo: Chair, I would like to recommend that we move to the full city council the nomination of Reginald Smith to the sobering center local regional government corporation and I would echo your comments that we had an extremely strong slate of the candidates who stepped forward for consideration. >> Houston: Councilmember Garza seconds that motion. All those in favor say aye? Opposed? The motion carries and we will make a recommendation to the full council for Mr. Reginald Smith. That ends our conversation for today.
