AU of the following items may be acted upon by one motion. No separate discussion or action on any of the items is necessary unless desired by a Council Member. Briefing 1. Update on Project Connect Conummity Engagement, the Reconunended System Plan and Locally Prefened Altematives. Discussion and Possible Action 2. Approve a resolution supp01ting the Project Connect System Plan and Locally Prefened Altematives and directing the City Manager to amend the Austin Strategic Mobility Plan (Ordinance No. 20 190411-033) to add the System Plan Reconunendation and Locally Prefened Altematives. Capital Metro Board will take action on a related item prior to Council considering this action. Briefing 3. Speaker Registration for the June 10, 2020 Joint Meeting of the Austin City Council and Capital Metro Board of Directors
• The City Council and Capital Metro Board of Directors will each consider their own item. All public comment for both agency’s action will be taken at the beginning of the meeting (12:00 p.m. on June 10, 2020). o The agenda and materials will be posted on both the City Council and Capital Metro Board websites. • People may register to speak or not speak, and may take the positions of in favor, against or neutral. • Due to COVID-19 and to maintain social distancing, public comment will be allowed via telephone; no in-person input will be allowed. • All speakers must register in advance of the meeting. Registration will open when the agenda posts on Friday, June 5, 2020, and will close at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2020. INSTRUCTIONS FOR PARTICIPATION: 1. Speakers must call the number in the instructions at least 45 minutes prior to meeting start in order to speak, late callers will not be accepted and will not be able to speak. Staff will verify registration and admit people to the meeting. Please remain on the line until admitted to the meeting, and then mute yourself. 4. Once on the line, participants must remain muted until their name is called by Capital Metro Chair Wade Cooper. Any speaker who speaks prior to being called upon by Chair Cooper will be disconnected and will not be able to rejoin the call. 5.
