Hello everybody I will call to order the special called meeting of the Austin city council on March 26th, 2024 for its 8:30 A.M, without objection, the city council will go into a closed session to take up one item pursuant to section 551074, the Texas government code. The city council will discuss personnel matters related to the appointment of a new city manager. Is there any objection to going into executive session on the item announced, hearing none. It's 1:35 P.M, and I am out in open session to announce that the Austin city council, which has been meeting in executive session for personnel matters under the Texas government code, to discuss, potential city manager has recessed the executive session until 4:00 pm. So the city council is in recess from the executive session until 4:00 pm, so that the city council committee on housing and planning will have the opportunity to meet. And they will be convening at 2 o'clock.

And we have a quorum of the council present, when we recessed, we were in a closed executive session pursuant to section 551074 of the Texas government code, and the city council was and will go back in to discuss personnel matters related to the appointment of a new city manager. At this point in time, the city council, without objection, will go into a closed executive session to take up the appointment of a new city manager, again pursuant to 551074 of the Texas government code.
